Bam Espresso is literally a hole in the wall and very easily missed under the shadow of the skyscrapers next door and lurking just around the corner of the the effervescent Alfred & Constance. You walk in and you immediately see the cashier and the espresso machine while being greeted by the creator and shop owner Michael. He asks you what coffee you want as you find yourself a comfy hessian stool, or cushion or sofa - whatever tickles your fancy.
The decor is as eclectic as it gets with everything made out of recycled material. The "scratch bench" is a table made from wooden planks with past coffee drinkers enscribing their worlds of wisdom on the table top as way of making their legacy. Hung from the roof is a variety of knick knacks from pearl necklaces to lamps to dream catchers. At the end of the coffee shop is "the cave" - a special room where it is lined with snuggly armchairs and sofas where you just may encounter lions and tigers and bear (oh my!).
This charity-minded cafe is a changing the world one espresso at a time. All the money you pay for your coffee goes to a local or international charity! And don't worry, you dont loose out on the taste and smoothness of your coffee just because this is a donations orientated joint. All coffees are made from Dibella coffee beans and is in fact the best mocha I have tasted in Brisbane by far.
