Ellen and I caught up over sushi this particular sunday night. This place has been on my list for a while but it's so far away from us southsiders that I never got the time (and effort) to come. Parking was a nighmare! (as expected) - with no shop front parking and surrounded by one way streets, we had to do about 3 rounds before we could park. Parallel park to top things off.
The shop was nonchalant and unpretentious, hidden away in a quiet deserted alley. But the minute you turned the corner, you immediately see just how popular this sushi place was. There was people lining up and every tablet was reserved. Kotobuki was a place for super casual dining and with great variety of sushi - definitely on par with Oishii. Ellen and I ordered two main each and then two plates of sushi to share. The sushi was deliciously refreshing - and made to order. My Kotobuki Special Udon dish was fantastic! I would definitely come here again ...but someone else can drive next time.
Nice blog!
